We are fortunate to welcome THREE summer fellowship students this summer in the DSEC Lab!
- Victoria Cassel was awarded an Undergraduate Student Summer Research Fellowship (USSRF). She will be continuing on in the lab as an Honours thesis student in the fall!
- Maria Fernanda Trigo Adami earned a MITACS Globalink intership. She comes to us from Universidade Federal do Paraná in Brazil!
- Polly Clayton is completing a Matariki Network of Universities intership. She is visiting from Durham University in the UK!
We have lots going on this summer, with ongoing data collection for our DETECT-AF study and data analysis for the EXPRESS studies. Victora, Maria, and Polly are focusing on developing indices of expressivity, preparing for data collection in the fall, recruiting teenage participants and their families for our ongoing studies, and collecting various forms of data on adolescents' emotional communication skills. We are fortunate to have such amazing students on our team! ✨
